Nose
Intense and refined bouquet of fresh yeast, toasted almond and a delicate hint of sea spray and dried herbs — hallmarks of biological ageing under an active flor veil.
Palate
Full-bodied and exceptionally rounded for its style, completely dry with vibrant freshness. The mid-palate shows surprising breadth and intensity, underpinned by a distinctive saline, mineral character rooted in Sanlúcar's coastal terroir.
Finish
Long, lingering finish with echoes of almond and a subtle saline return. Remarkably easy-drinking thanks to its exceptionally low perceived acidity — a rare balance in Manzanilla.
Manzanilla Minuto is a bone-dry fortified wine from the DO Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda, produced by Sucesores de G. de Angulo —AC Wines & Spirits— following a craft tradition dating back to 1892. Made exclusively from Palomino Fino grapes grown on the region's iconic albariza soils, this wine is aged under an active flor yeast veil and bottled en rama, entirely free from industrial treatment. The result is a Manzanilla of remarkable purity and immediacy, capturing the living character of the solera exactly as it exists in the cask.
The traditional criaderas y solera system governs every stage of the wine's biological ageing, with successive sacas and rocíos keeping the flor alive and vigorous. The Atlantic breezes that roll in from the Guadalquivir estuary and the nearby ocean are central to the wine's identity — that signature saline, maritime quality that sets Sanlúcar Manzanilla apart from all other styles in the Sherry triangle.
On the nose, Manzanilla Minuto is both intense and refined: fresh yeast, toasted almond and a whisper of sea spray unfold with inviting complexity. The mouthfeel is full and rounded for a wine of its style — completely dry, vibrant and surprisingly broad on the mid-palate. The finish is long and persistent, yet deceptively easy-drinking thanks to the wine's exceptionally low perceived acidity, a balance that few Manzanillas achieve so effortlessly.
This is a food-friendly wine built for the table: pair it with freshly grilled Atlantic shellfish, hand-carved Ibérico ham, salted anchovies or simply enjoy it chilled as an aperitif. Those looking to buy premium Spanish Manzanilla online will find in Minuto a benchmark artisan expression, presented in the original 1892 label — a bottle that carries the full weight of Sanlúcar's extraordinary winemaking heritage.
